摘要: An orientated substratum has been implicated in the development and regeneration of axons synapses. We prepared a basement membrane matrix from autogenous striated muscle, used it to repair sciatic nerve rats, then investigated results by histology electrophysiology. When treated grafts were coaxially aligned with fascicles functional recovery appeared within 30 days, good growth into distal nerve. Grafts myotubes at right angles supported but slower rate. untreated muscle allowed axon penetration only through naturally degenerated fibres, minimal It is concluded that rat graft correctly empty can facilitate guide peripheral after injury so lead recolonisation stump recovery.
