摘要: WITH the increased awareness of transfusion-associated human immunodeficiency virus infection, blood transfusion therapy has become an issue increasing concern to both general public and health practitioners. Several measures have already been instituted reduce risk transfusion-related infections: (1) improved screening procedures, (2) early detection infectious donors by serological methods, (3) institution confidential donor self-deferral, (4) inactivation viruses in some products with solvents detergents.
