摘要: Objectives Guided bone regeneration with alloplastic graft substitutes has a high impact in surgical dentistry nowadays. In the future, orthodontist will inevitably be confronted patients such medical history. A review of literature was performed to investigate present materials used, indications, and concerns problems interdisciplinary treatment nonautogenous grafts. Method An electronic key word search database PubMed US National Library Medicine The Cochrane (CENTRAL) Collaboration performed. Numerous journals were searched manually, reference lists all identified papers related topic reviewed warrant completeness. All abstracts publications screened duplicate by two autonomous reviewers. Inclusion criteria use followed orthodontic tooth movement or eruption through grafting material. Results total number 37. It possible divide these into major topics, graft. Besides experimental setups, indications periodontal defects, cystic lesions, alveolar clefts. Here, different types used. following partially uneventful sometimes attended serious adverse effects. resulting articles presented low level evidence showed diversity question, methodology, type publication. For this reason, it not perform quantifying review. Therefore, are discussed descriptive manner regard question. Conclusion Both grafted only but also might provide promising results. However, more research on is necessary avoid risks achieve safety patients.
