摘要: Tissue samples obtained from the lateral wall of maxillary sinuses five patients were examined by light microscopical, histochemical, and ultrastructural techniques. Submucosal glands tubulo-alveolar mixed glands. The acini consisted either all serous or mucous cells, a mixture both. Serous granules stained toluidine blue, hematoxylin eosin (H E), but showed little no reaction with periodic acid-Schiff (PAS) Alcian blue. Mucous pale in blue H E preparations, primarily acid mucosubstances, as demonstrated their staining PAS At electron microscope level, homogeneously dense, substructure consisting at least two layers distinctly different electron-opacity. Typical droplets fibrillar network dispersed translucent matrix. A second secretory product was present cells form elongated, membrane-bounded structures containing numerous parallel filaments, which measured about 55 diameter. filamentous bodies appear to arise opposite faces Golgi complex cells. pronounced tendency fuse droplets. All surrounded well-defined myoepithelial layer contained intercellular nerve terminals.
