摘要: MELATONIN (N-acetyl-5-methoxytryptamine) is a hormone, originally isolated from the epiphysis of bull1, which synthesised 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT). Since main site synthesis 5-HT in enterochromaffin cells intestinal tract2 we investigated possibility that melatonin also formed there. We have found evidence favour this possibility.
