摘要: Involvement of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) in the pathogenesis urothelial carcinoma elects them to be sensitive marker for clinical and prognostic implications. MMPs regulate tumor growth invasion by inducing epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT) which is characterized complex reprogramming epithelial cells ultimately bring about major changes structural organization bladder urothelium. The present study has been undertaken evaluate relevance two distinct types cancer disease. Expression analysis namely MMP-2, MMP-7, MMP-9 EMT markers including marker, E-cadherin; mesenchymal markers, N-cadherin Vimentin; EMT-activating transcriptional factors (EMT-ATFs), Snail, Slug, Twist Zeb was done 64 cases tissues [{Non-muscle invasive (NMIBC): 35 cases} {Muscle (MIBC): 29 cases}] real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR). Immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining matched protein expression localization E-cadherin, N-cadherin, Vimentin, Slug. Our data showed overexpression MMP-7 at transcriptome level 32.8%, 25% 37.5% respectively. These were examined higher (N-cadherin Vimentin) mRNA exhibited statistical association with stage grade (p = 0.02, p = 0.04, Mann-Whitney test). Significant correlation overexpressed also observed between gain weak E-cadherin stage, grade, gender, presence hematuria smoking history patients. Gene patterns tumors their significant profile validate important role (UCB). Increased specific may affect several downstream programs thus improve its diagnostic utility setting.
