摘要: The primary study objective was to ascertain whether a prior finding that the baseline cocaine urine toxicology predicted treatment dropout for dependent outpatients could be extended three additional outpatient samples and also attainment of initial abstinence four samples. A secondary extent which other variables accounted outcome variance over above afforded by toxicology. To evaluate first objective, relationships between each two measures within response--the completion or abstinence--were determined second evaluated stepwise, hierarchical logistic regression analysis, with entered in step, Addiction Severity Index (ASI) achievement as outcome. In all samples, patients indicative recent use were less than half likely complete achieve abstinence. Individual ASI did not contribute statistically significant findings confirm utility predictor unfavorable response.
