摘要: The increasing use of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) in biomedical applications underlines the importance its potential toxic effects to human health. In present study, we first exposed PC12 cells, a commonly used vitro model for neurotoxicity two kinds commercially available single-walled (SWCNTs), investigate effect SWCNTs on nervous system vitro. decrease cells viability was time and dose-dependent with exposure demonstrated by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay, lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) release morphological observation. Flow cytometry analysis showed that cells' cycle arrested G2/M phase, their apoptotic rate induced dose-dependent. Further studies revealed decreased mitochondrial membrane (MMP), formation reactive oxygen species (ROS) increased level lipid peroxide activities superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), catalase (CAT) content (GSH) manner. These findings reveal may induce oxidative stress vivo, causing occurrence diseases related cellular injuries neuronal such as neurodegenerative disorders, demonstrating necessity further research vivo.
