摘要: The mechanism of DNA ejection, viral assembly and evolution are related to the structure bacteriophage ΦX174. F protein forms a T = 1 capsid whose major folding motif is eight–stranded antiparallelβ barrel found in many other icosahedral viruses. Groups 5 G proteins form 12 dominating spikes that enclose hydrophilic channel containing some diffuse electron density. Each tight β with its strands running radially outwards topology similar protein. 'pilot' H per virion may be partially located putative ion channel. small, basic J associated situated an interior cleft Tentatively, there three regions ordered structure, accounting for about 12% total genome.
