摘要: The surface plasmon-enhanced spontaneous emission based on an organic light-emitting device is reported in this paper. For plasmon localization, silver nanoparticles were thermally deposited a high vacuum cathode that had 1-nm-thick LiF spacer. Since plasmons provide strong oscillator decay channel, time-resolved photoluminescence (PL) results displayed 1.75-fold increased rate, and continuous wave PL showed twofold enhanced intensity. In addition, film/Ag cluster/LiF film structure resolved the carrier injection problem between layer. Thus, suggested design may follow plasmonic applications for wider optoelectronics.
