Zeolite‐Catalyzed Synthesis of Substituted Benzimidazoles under Solvent‐Free Condition and Microwave Irradiation

摘要: (An efficient and simple synthesis of several 2‐arylbenzimidazoles 3a‐i from reaction 4‐methyl‐1,2‐)phenylenediamine aromatic carboxylic acids in the presence zeolite catalyst is reported. The reactions were performed under microwave irradiation, could be recycled used for times. yields products following recrystallization benzene or dichloromethane order 26–97%.
