摘要: The rheological behavior of clay suspensions, oil-in-water emulsions, and their blends was investigated using a controlled-stress rheometer. suspensions exhibited Newtonian at low solids volume fractions; high concentrations, shear-thinning observed. emulsions kerosene in water were over the oil fraction range 0.171−0.637. (keeping dispersed phase constant) strong synergistic effects to moderate values shear stress due interactions between particles droplets. blend viscosity minimum an emulsion proportion about 30−40 vol %. data successfully correlated terms ratio versus solids, where defined as pure viscosity.
