摘要: The response surface methodology was adopted to investigate the effects of main cutting parameters such as speed, feed rate, and depth cut on roughness when turning AISI 1050 carbon steel. Machining tests were carried out with uncoated ceramic (KY1615) coated tools (KY4400). Optimal machining conditions for desired finish determined. adequacy second order developed model analyzed by using analysis variance. experimental results indicated that rate dominant factor, followed cut. speed showed minimal effect roughness. Furthermore, variance second-order squares terms significant roughness, but interaction insignifi- cant both tools.
