摘要: Although cardiac effects of growth hormone (GH) and insulin-like factor (IGF)-I have been reported in experimental models heart failure human dilated cardiomyopathy, the IGF system has not comprehensively assessed failing heart. We therefore localized left ventricle during congestive after myocardial infarction (MI) rat. The anterior descending coronary artery was ligated adult female Sprague-Dawley rats hearts were examined 6 months when had developed. In situ hybridization histochemistry used to localize mRNA for components sham animals. able detect changes spatial distribution IGF-I binding proteins 3, 4, 5, MI. predominantly increased infarct/peri-infarct area ventricle. Other indistinguishable from low undetectable levels sham-operated rats. These results demonstrate that is altered suggest plays an important role response MI consequent failure.
