摘要: OBJECTIVE Sudomotor dysfunction is a feature of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy (DPN). The indicator plaster Neuropad can provide an easy and accurate way to diagnose DPN. aim the present study was evaluate Neuropad's specificity, sensitivity accuracy in detecting DPN patients with Diabetes Mellitus (DM). METHODS A total 174 DM (79 type 1 DM, 88 women), mean age 49.8 ± 16.1 years duration 17.3 7.7 were included study. following methods used DPN: Michigan Screening Instrument Questionnaire Examination (MNSIQ MNSIE, respectively), application 10 g monofilament (MONO) measurement vibration perception threshold biothesiometer (BIO). applied both feet all according presence or absence color change sticker, divided two groups: group (n = 82, complete from blue pink, depicting normal perspiration) B 92, incomplete no change, abnormal perspiration). RESULTS MNSIQ MNSIE positive for 111 119 patients, respectively. BIO 109 MONO 59 patients. Sensitivity testing 95% vs. MONO, 73% BIO, 75% ΜNSIQ. Specificity 69, 81, 90 92%, respectively test 78, 76, 78 83%, CONCLUSION has high specificity MNSIQ, BIO. but moderate MONO. measurements.
