摘要: Propolis shows therapeutic properties ascribed to the presence of some flavonoids, phenolic acids, and their esters; it is a natural multifunctional material, solid at room temperature, composed mainly resin waxes. We therefore used propolis as lipid material prepare nanoparticles (SLNs); SLNs are proposed bioactive medications for topical intranasal therapy. Suitable formulation parameters were studied obtained by high shear homogenization method characterized; selected was viscosized increase residence time. Dimensional, morphological, solid-state characterizations formulated performed. In vitro ex vivo permeation tests diclofenac sodium, model drug, polyphenols carried out. The amount surfactant concentration represent key that affect nanoparticle in terms size, drug polyphenol content, physical stability. Size dispersions about 600 nm 0.4 PI obtained, which do not change increasing viscosity. Drug encapsulated SLNs, demonstrated FTIR DSC analyses. studies prove cross membranes; therefore, propolis-based could be delivery systems flavonoids local treatment nasal cavity diseases. Due composition, medication carrier can exert complementary effect with loaded drug.
