摘要: Ghrelin is an endogenous peptide hormone mainly produced in the stomach. It has been known to regulate energy homeostasis, stimulate secretion of growth hormone, and mediate many other physiologic effects. Various effects attributed ghrelin contribute aspects cancer development progression. Accordingly, a large body evidence emerged about association with several types scales cell-line, animal, human studies. However, existing data are controversial. This controversy occurs two main domains: one controversial results local on different cell-lines; second apparent disagreement in-vitro clinical studies that investigated type cancer. These inconsistencies have hampered indications consider as potential tumor biomarker or therapeutic agent patients. Previous reviewed parts current literature ghrelin-cancer relationship. Although they highlighted these various ways, no specific recommendations given address it. In this study, we comprehensively in-vitro, in-vivo, attempted use following approaches unravel detected: (a) distinguish systemic interpreting its summary role each cancer; (b) scrutinizing factors could justify cell-lines. notable implications for future
