摘要: Rat thoracic duct lymphocytes (TDL) are capable of selective adherence to the endothelium high-endothelial venules (HEV) when overlaid onto glutaraldehyde-fixed sections lymph nodes. The data presented indicate that lymphocyte is an energy-dependent, calcium-requiring event involves membrane determinants on TDL which sensitive trypsin. Surface sialic acids not essential and treatment cells with neuraminidase does interfere their attachment HEV. There was no evidence microtubule-associated functions play a role in binding. Adherence, however, abolished by cytochalasin B, indicating cytoplasmic contractile microfilament system exerts important effect. results imply surface modulation involved development strong adhesive forces bind endothelium. In addition, lymphocyte-HEV reduced ionophore A-23187, agent known inhibit receptor movement. It suggested specific binding recirculating HEV passive event, but activation required for formation stable
