摘要: In addition to its genetic function, DNA is one of the most distinct and smart self-assembling nanomaterials. nanotechnology exploits predictable self-assembly oligonucleotides design assemble innovative highly discrete nanostructures. Highly ordered motifs are capable providing an ultra-fine framework for next generation nanofabrications. The majority these applications based upon complementarity base pairing: adenine with thymine, guanine cytosine. provides intelligent route creation nanoarchitectures programmable patterns. strands twist along helix a number bases before switching other by passing through crossover junction. association two crossovers keeps helices parallel holds them tightly together, allowing assembly bigger structures. Because molecule's unique novel characteristics, it can easily be applied in vast variety multidisciplinary research areas like biomedicine, computer science, nano/optoelectronics, bionanotechnology.
