摘要: This study investigates the impact of whole-body MRI (WB-MRI) in addition to CT chest-abdomen-pelvis (CT-CAP) and 18F-FDG PET/CT (PET/CT) on systemic treatment decisions standard clinical practice for patients with advanced breast cancer (ABC). WB-MRI examinations ABC were extracted from our registry (2009-2017). Patients under who underwent a control examination (CT-CAP or PET/CT) included. Data regarding progressive disease (PD) reported either collected. eventual change after imaging evaluation It was finally evaluated whether detection PD by any two modalities had induced treatment. Among 910 patients, 58 paired (16 CT-CAP 42 analysed. In 23/58 examinations, additional sites only not examination. 17/28 14 out 28 pairs that followed treatment, been WBMRI (14/28; 50%), while stable conclusion, disclosed earlier than PET/CT), it responsible alone 50% all changes
