摘要: Deficient thymopoiesis is a pivotal determinant of impaired immune competence following hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). Stem factor (SCF) essentially involved in early thymopoiesis. We evaluated whether SCF administration would improve recovery HSCT immunodeficient mice receiving: 1) bone marrow (BM) congenic mice; or 2) human fetal liver the system mouse model. Following murine BM transplantation, significantly enhanced and peripheral T lymph nodes spleen. did not affect lymphoid progenitor and/or expansion. Median thymic cellularity increased from 0.9 PBS- to 266 × 104/thymus SCF-treated (p = 0.05). mice, higher was observed mice. Double-negative double-positive thymocyte subsets increased, but especially late double-positive, CD4 single-positive, CD8 single-positive were < These results show that exogenous supply may posttransplant thymopoiesis, for which effect probably exerted by directly promoting development intrathymically rather than entry prethymically expanded progenitors.
