摘要: The air-side surface composition of a series poly(e-caprolactone)–perfluoropolyether–poly(e-caprolactone) triblock copolymers with different compositions and block lengths have been studied by angle-dependent X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). weight percentage the perfluoropolyether (PFPE) polycaprolactone (PCL) blocks, ethylene oxide linker (RH) has calculated in ways: from C1s, O1s F1s photoemission peaks line fitting C1s envelopes. atomic sensitivity factors parameters used to fit peak envelopes experimentally determined using some reference materials. A critical discussion methods characterization degradation PFPE segments, induced irradiation beam, also reported. large excess respect bulk was observed all samples, angular dependence XPS signal demonstrated that content fluorinated segment increased decreasing sampling depth. concentration decreased increasing PCL/PFPE ratio, but surfaces samples were still dominated segments for lower than 10%. Moreover, similar ratios lengths, showed when number-average molecular (Mn) 2000 3200 g mol−1, while containing Mn 900 mol−1 lower. Copyright © 2003 Society Chemical Industry
