摘要: We have studied the effects of ingestion a chemically defined diet on constituents serum and urine five normal volunteers. The diet, believed to meet all human nutritional requirements, caused decrease in cholesterol urea nitrogen an increase phosphate, uric acid, creatinine. Urinary creatinine is unchanged from that random but urinary electrolytes, urea, acid new stable value, which achieved after four days. High-resolution techniques been used measure carbohydrate-containing those can be detected by their ultraviolet absorbance or reaction with ninhydrin. A considerable number these effected chemical within days, even this time compounds attributable may not completely eliminated. Many components persist while subjects are simplified tentatively identified.
