摘要: Background  To establish the relationship between sleep apnoea and gastro-oesophageal reflux in infants describe clinical, demographic pHmetric profile characteristic of polysomnography with a pH probe. Methods  A total 102 consecutive patients were evaluated. Parents requested to fill out questionnaire about symptoms previous therapy. Gastro-oesophageal was considered abnormal when percentage time less than 4 higher 4% time. Results  enrolled, 53% males. Seventy-four per cent full-term babies. At moment polysomnography, mean age sample 2.6 months. Suspicion most common clinical diagnosis prior study. Only two have electroencephalogram. Mild seen 37 (36%) infants, while 22 (21.5%) did not any episode, remaining 43 (42%) had index pathologic range. one patient an unequivocal temporal acid oesophageal respiratory pause oxygen desaturation. Discussion  Infants history or acute life threatening event frequently episodes which correlated events, suggesting that often occur same infant as separate events.
