摘要: Indo-Pacific humpback dolphins (Sousa chinensis) are apex predators in the Pearl River Estuary waters (PRE) of China. PCBs, DDTs and other organochlorine pesticides (OCPs) (e.g., HCHs, HCB, mirex dieldrin) were analysed blubber samples 45 10 prey fishes S. chinensis collected from 2004 to 2013 PRE region investigate bioaccumulation potential biomagnification persistent organic pollutants (POPs). most abundant residue dolphins, with an average 6,2700 ng g(-1) wet weight (ww), followed by PCBs (average: 1,790 ww) OCPs including ∑HCHs, mirex, endrin, ∑chlordanes, dieldrin, aldrin, heptachlor, pentachlorobenzene. The concentrations male significantly increased age length. In contrast, female did not show obvious trends body length, possibly due lactational parturitional transfer these compounds. Compared POP residues fishes, DDTs, HCHs dolphin factors 99, 212, 5, respectively, whereas levels 2-185 times, indicating a potentially significant top predators. calculated for POPs higher than those cetacean species regions.
