Effect of impurities on vacancy migration energy in Fe-based alloys

摘要: Abstract Effects of impurities, such as carbon, nitrogen, helium and hydrogen, on microstructural evolution in pure iron were investigated by means a multi-beam electron microscope. Growth rate dislocation loops measured to calculate vacancy migration energies. In all irradiation temperature conditions, both the size number density increased function dose. Irradiation with more impurities showed an increase dependence loop growth compared little impurities. The situ experiment indicated that net energy vacancies could be due trapping effect C N would larger than W, V, Ta. Furthermore, H He greater N, well functional theory (DFT), applied atomic models BCC iron, impurity atoms, is good agreement this experiment.
