摘要: Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) of peripheral nerve in rats receiving 6% lead carbonate for 4-10 weeks provided evidence a specific Schwann cell injury, associated with demyelination. Intranuclear inclusions cells appeared within 2 administration lead-containing diet. Swelling and disintegration their cytoplasm was evident at 4 weeks. Distinctive electron-dense both endothelial during the period intoxication were ultrastructurally identical to pathognomonic poisoning seen renal tubular epithelial cells. Scanning (SEM) electron-probe microanalysis used identify deposits. In addition changes, vessels revealed injury alteread permeability macromolecules. Since morphologic changes precede development altered vascular endoneurial edema, it appears that gains access endoneurium prior permeability, suggesting edema fluid pressure are epiphenomena supervene after demyelination occurs. Remyelination, proliferation formation onion bulbs manifestations persistent toxic myelin-sustaining cells, resulting chronic
