Effect of Ti3SiC2 addition on microwave absorption property of Ti3SiC2/cordierite coatings

摘要: Abstract Ti 3 SiC 2 /cordierite (MAS) composite coatings with different concentrations were prepared via atmosphere plasma spraying (APS) method. The characteristics of the /MAS powders and as-sprayed coatings, such as microstructure, phase constitution, observed measured. effect addition on electromagnetic shielding, dielectric, microwave absorption properties in frequency 8.2–12.4 GHz was measured discussed. can significantly improve shielding complex permittivity which be ascribed to enhanced polarization electrical conductivity. When content increases 30 wt.%, coating shows an excellent property, effective bandwidth (≤−5 dB) obtained across whole a thickness 1.8 mm. Further increase led high permittivity, is harmful impedance match results strong reflection weak absorption.
