摘要: Abstract There has been some discussion in the literature on generation of ultrafine particles from tire abrasion studded and non-studded tires tested laboratory environment. In present study, potential road interface was investigated during real driving. An instrumented Sport Utility Vehicle equipped with summer used to measure particle concentrations high temporal resolution inside wheel housing while driving a regular asphalt road. Different conditions, i.e., straight driving, acceleration, braking, cornering were applied. For normal conditions no enhanced number concentration size range 6–562 nm found. Unusual maneuvers associated significant slip resulted measurable concentrations. The maximum distribution between 30 60 nm. exponential increase velocity measured directly at disc brakes for full stop brakings. A tracer gas experiment carried out estimate upper limit emission factor
