摘要: Background: The transverse rectus abdominis musculocutaneous (TRAM) flap is an appealing option for women choosing between various breast reconstructive techniques as it results in autologous reconstructed that soft and mimics a natural breast. Despite these benefits, there are complications with this procedure, such pain at the donor site, longer scars, most frequently occurrence of abdominal wall hernia or bulge, which has been reported up to 20%–40% patients. Methods: In case report, we share our experience 2 patients who had multiple open repairs, 5 them, after their TRAM surgery. Each repairs was performed Prolene mesh overlay, but not one lasted more than 6 months. After reviewing patients’ records surgical options, decided proceed laparoscopic repair recurrent hernias. Results: now postoperative follow-up 12 months 15 months, no evidence recurrence. Discussion: Laparoscopic surgery many shorter hospitalization decreased pain. For patients, also resulted beneficial longer-lasting repair. We believe partly due mechanics repair, allows contents buttress against wall. addition, technique reinforces posterior sheath, may be accomplished This important hernias occur below arcuate line. From advocate use treatment those present bulge will become first-line treatment.
