摘要: The Japanese Society for Dialysis Therapy generates many tables of data on dialysis patients in their annual reports. These tables, derived from over 37 000 who started 2008, allow comparison the local incidence new with national by estimating a standardized ratio and confidence interval. Since this method adjusts age gender, it may be useful to evaluate strategies managing chronic kidney disease, including response campaigns quality assurance. Furthermore, end-stage renal disease population other countries can also directly compared method. That is, age- gender-adjusted calculated another country Japan. This might one step toward improving care preventing progression disease.
