摘要: The capacity to invade red cells is central the biology of malaria parasites; both asexual multiplication and reinfection definitive mosquito host depend upon intraerythrocytic stages. invasion process complex. briefly free merozoite specifically recognizes adheres ligands on cell surface, then alters membrane produce an invagination into which it moves, so becomes enclosed in a membrane-bound parasitophorous vacuole. Here we assess new evidence that bears our understanding this process. This has come from sources including biochemical ultrastructural studies specialized surface organelles merozoites, vitro using naturally refractory or artificially modified cells, structural, chemical, immunological analyses newly parasitized cell.
