摘要: This paper reviews recent progress in salivary animal proteomics, with special reference to the porcine proteome. Until fairly recently, most studies on saliva as a diagnostic fluid have focused humans, primates and rodents, development of analysis monitoring health farm animals including pigs has received only limited consideration. The proteome been characterised by 2D-electrophoresis followed mass spectrometry. Major minor proteins identified. use non-invasive biological disease will be reviewed, together potential proteomics for biomarkers. In this review, methods collection composition considered, handling analysis. overall findings indicate that there is considerable pig, it offers advantages over other body fluids animal.
