The interference phenomena of light at very low intensities

摘要: An interference pattern is obtained with a Michelson interferometer; the intensity distribution in determined by counting rate of photons means photomultiplier. It shown that for very low intensities light does not differ outside margin experimental error from normal intensities. At about 106 enter interferometer per sec; thus these average at any time much less than one photon contained inside interferometer.
