摘要: As skin physiology and aging are very complex processes, it is not surprising that ongoing research efforts uncover more noxious substances with detrimental effects on the skin. Expanding field of view, IR radiation, tobacco smoke, ozone have received increasing attention. Besides understanding pathomechanisms involved, questions adequate protection arise, challenging modern to counter premature aging. Life-style an important topic as smoke can be avoided in our society, IR-A at least partially. Nonetheless, major portion daily load cannot therefore additional protective approaches must investigated.
