Direct charge transfer to horseradish peroxidase revisited using a glassy carbon electrode

摘要: Abstract This study reports the use of cyclic voltammetry (CV), hydrodynamic voltammetry, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) to investigate horseradish peroxidase (HRP) direct adsorption onto a glassy carbon (GC) surface HRP in presence polymyxin (PM) forming Nafion ® -covered HRP-PM films on GC surface. The bioelectrocatalytic behavior these electrodes toward H 2 O reduction was also studied. reaction rate constant HRP-PM/Nafion comparable that bare containing nanotubes or graphene their films. GC/HRP-PM/Nafion were sufficiently for (even at pH 7 37 °C)—a feature suggests possible as negative biofuel cells. From EIS experiments, it estimate resistance electron hopping ( R eh ) between heme Fe 3+ /Fe 2+ redox centers enzymes molecules.
