摘要: The role of products activated lymphocytes (PAL) in the pathogenesis primary demyelination has been investigated rabbit eye model. Supernatant factors were prepared from lymph node cells specifically vitro with non-brain antigen (PPD) or nonspecifically by mitogen (concanavalin A-Sepharose). supernatants shown to contain migration-inhibitory factor (MIF) activity and skin-reactive (SRF) activity, mediators delayed-type hypersensitivity. active injected into vitreous right determine their ability promote retinal fibers. left received a supernatant unstimulated cells. In normal rabbits sensitized lung kidney, FCA alone, infected living BCG, lymphocyte failed damage myelin directly. Nor was mononuclear cell infiltrate induced PAL destructive myelin. However, homologous spinal cord, demyelinating lesion within This result indicates for PAL, concert other as yet undefined functions, initiation an autoimmune CNS. use induce infiltration extends usefulness model studies demyelination.
