摘要: A system and method employing a microplasma to electrically charge nano- or micro-particles in gas phase and, subsequently, trap the charged particles within using microplasma's built-in electric fields are disclosed. Confinement of allows their density be increased over time such that very low concentrations can detected, e.g., by methods as laser scattering and/or detection plasma-induced on particles. Preferably, employed when nano-particles trapped detected.
