摘要: The effect of thyrotropin-releasing hormone (TRH) on the pituitary-thyroid axis and prolactin secretion was studied in pregnant Rhesus monkeys during latter period gestation non-pregnant female controls. baseline plasma concentrations TSH, T3, T4, (PRL) did not differ from those monkeys. After administration TRH, rose to higher levels than whereas there a similar response T4 T3 both groups. TSH elevated decreased fetus compared with mother. Administration TRH iv maternal monkey caused larger fetal that mother followed by increments fetuses mothers. thyroid hormones also occurred when given fetus. There significant rise after or fetus; increase PRL much data show can cross primate placenta either direction. release TSH.
