摘要: OBJECTIVE. A retrospective review of our radiology database revealed five elderly patients, seen over a 12-month period, whose findings were judged positive for hip fractures on the basis their bone scans, but MR imaging negative.CONCLUSION. The presence collar osteophytes around femoral neck caused false diagnosis fracture these as radionuclide scans. CT or correlation is needed where may have an incorrect based scan.
