摘要: Introduction:  The aim of this study was to evaluate over a 180-day period the biocompatibility and retinal support foldable capsular vitreous body injected with either saline or silicone oil implanted in rabbit eyes. Methods:  A standard three-port pars plana vitrectomy performed, bodies were into cavity eyes (n = 18). Silicone tamponade used as control group (n = 5). Of body-implanted eyes, (n = 9) retina. treated examined using slit lamp non-contact slit-lamp lens, tonopen, specular microscope B-scan ultrasound during implantation period. histological examination performed at 90 180 days. Results:  During period, no significant corneal keratopathy intraocular inflammation noted, pressure (IOP) endothelial numbers remained steady among three groups. ultrasonography showed smoothly increased echogenicity front retina saline. Gross that supported inside homogeneous, transparent filled body. Histological obvious abnormality cornea, ciliary eyes. Conclusions:  These results suggest good time.
