摘要: The climate sensitivity predicted in general circulation models can be sensitive to the treatment of ice particle fall velocity. In this study, mass-weighted speed (Vm) and number concentration (Vn) midlatitude cirrus clouds are computed from situ measurements area made by two-dimensional stereo probe during Small Particles Cirrus field campaign. For single-moment microphysical schemes, Vm size distribution effective diameter De were parameterized terms cloud temperature (T) water content (IWC). two-moment Vn related mean maximum dimension¯D, respectively. although correlations with T higher than IWC, it is demonstrated that better using both IWC. parameterization relating IWC compared another scheme latter based on millimeter radar measurements. Regarding a strong correlation was found between between¯D owing their similar weightings mass concentration, Estimating makes function projected area, realistically coupling microphysics radiative properties.
