摘要: Background:: Trace elements such as manganese have an important role in the maintenance of normal structure and physiology cells. Manganese is involved many biological processes. Therefore, evaluation atherosclerotic disease important. Materials Methods:: In this cross sectional study, 334 subjects, without recent cardiac event history collagen vascular or infectious were investigated. All patients divided into 4 groups to evaluate severity coronary artery according Syntax scoring system. matched cardiovascular risk factors. Results:: The serum level group was 1.47±0.23 µg/L total 1.06±0.37 µg/L. significantly lower than (p=0.001) decreased with atherosclerosis. sever atherosclerosis mild moderate (p=0.001). Conclusion:: finding indicated that it decreases
