摘要: Local ablative therapy for the treatment of metastatic disease to liver has been evaluated most extensively in colorectal cancer with 5-year survival rates up 55% after RF ablation. Recent findings suggest selected patients other malignant processes may benefit as well, but conclusive evidence is limited. This article reviews available literature regarding use radiofrequency ablation, microwave and cryoablation liver. The published results each these modalities are promising, outcomes continue be evaluated.
