摘要: Abstract The adsorption ability of Cu(II) using chitosan from simulated rinse solutions containing chelating agents was studied. Four including ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), citric acid, tartaric and sodium gluconate were selected. It shown that the concentration ratio agent to as well NaOH significantly affected capacity. Competition between coordination with unprotonated electrostatic interaction chelates protonated played an important role in this system. maximum capacity found within each optimal pH range. This work provided a simple criteria for removal such industrial (0.3–5.0 mol/m 3 ) chitosan.
