摘要: Abstract The catechol plays a variety of important roles in biological processes, prompting researchers to include them the design biomimetic biomedical materials. low molecular weight and good water solubility group (or its derivatives) make it candidate for functionalizing biomaterials that can be typically achieved by grafting onto polymer chain. To fully harness powerful capabilities catechols, one think beyond linear chains, towards hyperbranched polymers, wherein at least branches comprises moiety. In recent years, number approaches have been developed synthesize multifunctional polymers with functionalities bioadhesives surface coatings. This review article focuses on main synthetic applied introducing versatile building blocks within (hyper)branched structure polymers. addition, applications these fields are highlighted as well.
