摘要: Giant hepatic hemangiomas, though often asymptomatic, may require intervention if rapid growth occurs. The imaging studies including the computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and ultrasonography, so on are effective for diagnosis management of this tumor; however, due to its size various patterns these studies, we need carefully consider therapeutic methods. Compared cost needed modalities, recently developed approved Perflubutane- (Sonazoid-) based contrast agent enhanced ultrasonography is reasonable safe. major advantage real-time observation vascular structure function Kupffer cells. By procedure, can follow tumor or character change in a hemangioma decide timing intervention, since abdominal pain, mass, consumptive coagulopathy, signs intervention. We reviewed recent reports about Sonazoid-based enhancement also showed representative images collected our department. This first review showing detailed findings giant hemangiomas using Perflubutane (Sonazoid). will help physician making decision, hope that Sonazoid gain widespread acceptance near future.
