摘要: Abstract This study examined the relationship between self-esteem, information search, and problem-solving efficiency. It was hypothesized that while working on a task, low self-esteem subjects would search for more before offering problem solutions than high subjects. also that, in contrast to previous findings performance, be effective performers this task where functional. The required discover relational rule among three numbers. Subjects could various amounts of their solutions. As expected, searched information, functional, individuals were significantly better task. These results are contrasted with studies performance discussed terms importance demands person × situation interactions.
