摘要: Abstract Wireless video sensor networks (WVSN) are energy constrained systems where deployed nodes capable of capturing the visual scene, performing local processing such as compression, then routing results toward destination. In this paper, we consider problem minimizing consumed by node to encode and transmit stream under a defined quality constraint. present work, Intra-Only H.264/AVC is considered compression scheme. Particularly, propose control at run-time both energies for encoding transmitting, in addition distortion. Thus, begin our study profiling evolution these quantities according two coding parameters, namely frame rate (FR) quantization parameter (QP). Following an analysis obtained measurements, empirical parametric models line with observed behaviors, validate them different sequences. Finally, introduce Dynamic Adaptive Encoding Parameters’ values Selection (DAEPS) procedure which relies on solve consideration. Simulations show advantage considering approach, capable, one hand, extending lifetime up 2.3 times, when compared state-of-the-art approaches, other complying end-to-end
