摘要: This paper presents an energy efficient adaptive video compression scheme dedicated to wireless sensor networks. based on the recent H.264/AVC standard operates using two modes, namely standby mode and rush mode. In mode, frame rate is limited while image quality maintained a high level. increased Flexible Macroblock Ordering coding tool provided by used produce service-differentiated macroblocks categories: region of interest (ROI) background (BKGD). addition, bit adaptation frequency selectivity applied reduce data amount. Hence, transmission consumption decreased maintaining for ROI. Simulations proved efficiency proposed that enables extend network's lifetime up three times, achieves ROIs even at low rates.
